Prehospital critical care education in St. Louis.

The Critical Care Association of St. Louis (CCASTL) is a regional association of paramedics, physicians, educators, and EMS leaders working to improve care for critically ill and injured patients outside the hospital.

Our Beginnings

CCASTL grew from the Critical Care Consortium, a collaboration of paramedics and physicians who came together to share experience and strengthen prehospital critical care.

Established in 2026, CCASTL builds on that collaboration through physician-led education, mentorship, and shared learning across the St. Louis region.
